The new Acer commercial sees the tech company partnering with megastar DJ Tiësto to help launch their new convertible Aspire P3 Ultrabook with Intel Inside.
Filmed in LA as well as live at a Tiësto concert in Salt Lake City, the commercial tells the story of Tiësto’s hapless assistant, Vernon who, always on the fringe of the action, finally gets his opportunity to show what he’s made of when a technical hitch forces Tiësto to abandon the stage. The commercial also stars Louis Vuitton supermodel Poppy Delevingne who plays the smoking hot love interest of dorky Vernon, played by New York comedian Dan Chamberlain.
The partnership with Tiësto will go beyond this commercial as Tiësto will continue to work with Acer across their campaigns as well as his own web series 'In the Booth' throughout the rest of the year.
